It's Because They Love You

I just got the lecture of my life. The people closest to you can be some of the most straight forward people in your life, but they only tell you the truth because they love you. I just sat through a brutal hour of "this is what's wrong with you" conversation from the last person that I would expect it from.

It's nice though. It's good to hear the honest truth no matter how hurtful it can be. Tonight I was reminded of my all time fave Jack Johnson lyric: "Don't let your dreams be dreams…"
