Made out of Love

*2 in the morning *

Last night I was watching The Care Bears Movie with Ondy before we went to bed. This is the conversation we had at the beginning of the movie:

Ondy: Do you know what Care Bears are made of?

Me: Yes, they're made of Love.

Ondy: HEY! I was going to say that!!!

Me: How did you know that Care Bears are made of Love?

Ondy: Because I did my research on them.

OWNED! He told me wassuppppp!!!

It's the little scraps in life that count...

I am not a photographer, nor do I claim to have artistic abilities when it comes to a camera. I just like to take pictures. I enjoy capturing the little moments in life that end up becoming little treasures at a later time. I use to love the last day of school because it was the only time when we were allowed to bring cameras and not get in trouble for it. I have some incriminating pictures of friends, family and of myself! In the end... it's these little scraps of life that count because they bring us back to those moments. The moments of... "damn I was skinny/fat" - "oh yeah, what happened to that person" - and of course my favorite - "I can't believe I use to wear that!"

At the moment of the picture, life seems perfect. Years later we wonder... WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING?!

Anyways, here's a glimpse into my life and what I actually do with these pictures. Scrapbooking -- the expensive hobby I have that allows me to reminisce on my life.

Obnoxiousness is Ugly

I totally understand how passionate one can get when it comes to proving their point or making themselves heard, but seriously.... don't be obnoxious about it! You can repeat yourself as many times as you want, but don't be annoying because that rude tone in your voice is very offensive. I don't understand why people feel like they have to be ugly about the way they say things.

The Best Run of My Life

Chevron Houston Marathon 2010 --- I can't believe I ran you! Ever since I decided to run a marathon, the biggest race I could ever do in my life, I've always wanted to run the Houston but never had the chance. So September 2009, I made SURE I registered on time --- this race freaking closed out in like 3 days!!! I'm still shocked that I accomplished Marathon #2. After the 1st one, I told myself I would never put myself through that type of torture again... never say "never" right?

Anyways, I came in 20 minutes FASTER then my first ever marathon at 5:35:04~!!! I'm not a fast runner, but it's a big deal for me to manage to stay within a 12 minute pace the entire way!! My family is the best because they support me in everything I do. Thank you guys for enduring the 5 and a half hours w/ me!! Congratulations BJ on your FIRST race EVER!! Thanks for pushing me to the finish line. =)

It looks like I'm walking, but I was really running my heart out at this point!! -- haha
